Zenxith
What’s Happening To Me?

This is the 16th album & it’s titled “What’s Happening To Me?”, this was wrote & recorded in Zenxith’s house in 2025 during the windy months of August, September & October, It’s been pretty windy this year. The cover art is the fascinating Beverly Lucy Garland in a promotional photo from the 1958 film “The Saga of Hemp Brown”, which I designed on the 31st of August 2025, I also came up with the title on the same day, it’s wrote on my bathroom wall and it has been for years so I thought it would make a good album title, it also refers to myself, the answer is also on the back of the CD, Beverly also has a song on the album dedicated to her, she’s my cover star! A lot of the songs on this album are very meaningful with lots of detail in my lyrics, from girls to depression, made up stories & my thoughts all mixed in together. The album consists of 13 tracks & 3 singles, tambourine & shaker as normal throughout the entire album, always a drum machine. Very lofi as expected, no label, no band, no backing, no studio, no endorsement or promo, basically I had no help! DIY through and through, recorded on my phone with no real production, just me, you won’t find this in the stores etc. A very authentic & genuine album from the heart, some dark & sad songs in there, few handclaps, it’s an overall darkish album in general, with humour as well with songs like “Dancing Skeleton” & “Headless Corpse” & others of course. Many guitars covering the songs, stacked in chorus & blending together, jangle pop! Soft whisper like vocals, a haunting album. Expect this to sound like Zenxith again, my dad aka Andy Anxiety does backing vocals on one of the songs. This is available on CD as issue 15 on my own label Salt Mine Records, limited to only 100 copies. Gentle DIY lofi indie pop! Straight from the bedroom! I’m drinking far too much! This ain’t no rip off & certainly ain’t no gimmick. Goodbye!
