My wonderful friends from the Berlin band Ice Dream Social asked me to remix their stand-out single 'Fire' a while back, an offer that I was extremely grateful for and to which I emphatically said yes!

Composing the remix was quite a process, though. It's the first official remix that I've ever done and trying to navigate that process was at times a great experience, but also at times hung me out to dry emotionally - which I hadn't seen coming. It exposed my tendency towards self-doubt and struggling to connect with a project when I'm daunted by what I perceive to be expectations riding on it.

After a couple of dead-ends and some great constructive conversations with the band, I finally hit my stride, and with Conor at Glowcast giving me some mix guidance and doing his usual magic at the mastering stage I can present to you a remix I'm proud of :)
