This song was written with the timeless love story of Beauty and the Beast in mind. Hardly original and for good reason, but the recent release of Nosferatu got me thinking about it. It struck me that many love stories written before and after Ms. Barbot's fairytale have some aspects of the story when you really look. From the Greek mythologies to stories like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera and The Man Who Laughs and so on. Even Romeo and Juliet were raised to see the other as a "Beast" but instead found beauty. It’s everywhere! A talented artist named Xowie Bowie helped me with this.
