The Haunting of Us

Los Angeles–based dark synthpop trio BlakLight return this winter with their fourth studio album, 'The Haunting of Us', arriving December 5th, 2025 on Bandcamp and all major music services. The ten-track record dives deeper into themes of loss, intimacy, and emotional decay—an atmospheric evolution for a band known for their cinematic synth textures and brooding hooks.

'The Haunting of Us' marks the first BlakLight album to feature contributions from the band’s newest member, Omar Quiñones, whose influence can be felt in the album's expansive arrangements and sharpened rhythmic focus. Building on the momentum of their previous releases, the band broadens its sonic palette while keeping their signature blend of haunting melodies, pulsing electronics, and shadow-drenched vocals fully intact.

The album includes the recently released singles “Leave a Light On,” “Buried Alive,” and “Blind Vision,” each offering a glimpse into the record’s dark emotional landscape. From the tense unraveling of “Everything’s Gone Wrong” to the slow-burn collapse of “Suddenly It Falls Apart,” the new material reveals BlakLight at their most exposed and evocative.

Following the release, BlakLight will take their new material to the stage with performances already confirmed for Dark Force Fest 2026 and Germany’s legendary Wave-Gotik-Treffen, with additional European dates to be announced.

'The Haunting of Us' stands as BlakLight’s most immersive statement to date — a stark descent into the beautiful, fragile, and ghost-ridden spaces that connect us.
