Hexistence
modern metal / female fronted / groove metal / metalcore / doom / metal
Hexistence is a groove metal band from Budapest, Hungary, originally formed under the name Philosophers Stoned in 2018. While their early music was heavily influenced by occult themes, the band has since evolved toward a more personal direction — tackling issues like anxiety, alienation, and the tension within social relationships.
Their debut album, Evil Gaze, released in early 2025, marks a more emotionally refined and musically mature chapter. Their sound is defined by groove-based riffs, tight rhythms, a contrast between clean and harsh vocals, and a dark yet hopeful tone.
The current lineup is unique in many ways: fronted by two female vocalists — Fábián Lilla and Antal Csenge — who complement each other both thematically and technically. They are joined by Tengely Viktor (guitar), Roland Karsai (bass), and Gergő Barta (drums), forming a tight and powerful instrumental section.
Hexistence offers a sound that is rare on the Hungarian scene: raw, modern, and emotionally deep. They don't just share music — they share experience. Inner battles, uncertainty, and the hope that things can move forward.
The band is open to both domestic and international bookings, currently working on new materials and actively seeking platforms where their music can reach wider audiences — connecting through themes that often remain unspoken.
