Analogue Heart is an Atlanta based solo artist best known for donning a CRT computer monitor during live shows as well as using a vocoder to disguise their voice. Their sound pulls primarily from the 3rd Wave “mall emo” era of bands such as Motion City Soundtrack, Senses Fail, and Armor for Sleep with a 5th wave twist that incorporates more artificial sounds such as sequenced drums, chiptune synths, and synth funk elements that give the music an identity of its own. Through the use of a blend of vocoded and screamed vocals, funk bass, and hard driving guitar riffs they’ve carved out a niche among fans of dancey, groove driven, and still heavy emo music.
