Opaque is a track which was originally conceived in 2021, while I was commuting weekly between Berlin and Leipzig for my first post as a music therapist in a Forensic Psychiatry unit. It was still mid-pandemic and therefore a time of uncertainty and restlessness for myself and many, many people. I didn't have much time to produce and I was beginning to feel a sense of uncertainty around myself as a musician and especially as a singer; something I've been almost all my life, but which seemed distant and complicated at the time.

I therefore chose to make something which flew in the face of these feelings, something with grit, something with vocals and yet something which felt lyrically personal.
